Patchwork
Literally, “piece work”, patchwork is the art of making something new with something old; reuse acetate scraps to assemble the pieces and create new shapes.
“Light and colour are the two main criteria for a pair of glasses. For each of the tones, I look for the most effective values. For each colour, there are a few places of intensity where opulence is evident.
The choice is to marry two acetate colours that change the pure form, and the object alters its volume.”
With the assembling of materials, mixtures of patterns and nude or crystal tones, we reuse and recycle. Based on committed fashion and sustainable manufacturing, what could be more modern that to recycle or up cycle pieces by assembling them for a new use?
Patchwork, constantly reinvented, is an eternal guest in the spirit of the times.
