A few streets from Place des Vosges, in the Hôtel Melun, a 17th century building, redesigned around 1780, in the heart of the Marais. It is here that Jérémy Miklitarian has been working since 2011. Drawing, assembling, composing.
A place of work, not of display. Where materials are chosen, where shapes take form, where each frame is adjusted before it leaves.

TARIAN frames are designed in Paris and handcrafted in Italy. A standard of precision the brand fully assumes.
Everything begins with acetate.
The material
The material guides the creation. Colour gives it depth. Light reveals everything. Almost half of the acetates used by TARIAN are developed specifically for the brand, colours, depths and nuances found nowhere else.
High-density acetate offers superior colour depth, the colour doesn't sit on the surface, it runs through. More resistant over time, more precise in the cut, it holds its shape and its brilliance.
The material is not a support. It is the subject.
True comfort cannot be explained. It disappears.
The invisible detail
AXIS is TARIAN's screwless flex hinge. Designed to go unnoticed on the face, no pressure, no friction, no reminder of its presence. The hinge naturally follows the shape of the face and absorbs its movements. Weight is distributed across the entire frame.
Nothing forces. Nothing tightens.

The position on the nose, the opening, the thickness and height of the nose pads are carefully considered, machined from solid material to provide a precise and stable fit. Designed for one simple purpose: to wear your frames all day, without thinking about it.
